In the first 9 months of 2015, polypropylene production in Russia grew by a quarter

In the first nine months of 2015, the total production of polypropylene in Russia increased by 25% as compared with the same period of 2014 and amounted to about 1.045 million tons. The increase in the production figures was shown by all Russian enterprises, the only exception was Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Market Report informs.

In October this year, the total production volume of polypropylene in Russia grew to 117.7 thousand tons against 74.7 thousand tons in the previous month (in September, facilities of Tobolsk-Polymer, Tomskneftekhim and Polyom were stopped for scheduled repairs). In general, in January - October 2015, the total output of polypropylene in Russia reached 1.045 million tons against 833.8 thousand tons in the same period of 2014. The positive result of the production growth was shown by all companies, except Nizhnekamskneftekhim, which slightly reduced the production volumes.
