Ukraine obtains the consent of the RF for the reconsideration of the gas contract

The Ukraine obtained the consent of the RF for reconsideration of the gas delivery contract which Kiev considers one-sided, Ukrainian PM, Nikolai Azarov said on Sunday.
“We insisted on reconsideration of this contract. Actually, we’ve obtained the consent and we hope, we’ll find a compromise during the negotiations”, Azarov said.
In the beginning of November Azarov claimed, in prospect Ukraine could reject import of Russian gas if the acting gas contract was not reconsidered. If the RF initiates a court trial, Ukraine is going to defend its interests.
