Oil deposit to be prospected in the Voronezh region

Valuable accumulation has been discovered in the Povorinskoye district (Voronezh region). To date the Ministry of Natural Resources has provided the deposit for geological exploration.

• The question is about the site “Mokroozerny” in area of 13.9 square km, where forecast oil reserves of 14 thousand tons are located. The commercial oil content of the site has not been confirmed so far. They said in Voronezhnedra that “Torgservice” Ltd, the only claimant for a performance of work, will get the license for geological exploration at the site. The meeting of the committee took place on November 7, but the license has not been granted so far.
