Construction of the Serbian division of South Stream has started

The construction of the Serbian division of South Stream has started. They held the ceremony of the welding of the first pipeline joint last Sunday. They announced that Gazprom would provide Euro 175 million to the Serbian side. Those who participated in the ceremony were the President of Serbia, T. Nikolich, the Premier, I. Dacic, the Minister of Energy of Russia, A. Novak, the chief of Gazprom, A. Miller and the CEO of Serbiagaz D. Bayatovich. Mr. Miller says that the next state where South Stream construction will start will be Hungary. At the end of October, they began construction of the Bulgarian division of the pipeline.
