Rosneft to study geological structure of the sea bed at its licensed sites in the Laptev Sea

The expedition for the regional geological engineering research in the Laptev Sea, organized on the orders of Rosneft with participation of specialists of Arctic Research Center, is about to start their field research. The research vessel" Professor Molchanov", equipped with the necessary deck and laboratory equipment, left the port of Arkhangelsk and in the next two months will perform research at three licensed areas in the Laptev Sea. During the expedition, the data on the geological structure of the section and the structure of the seabed by a regional network of the research will be received, the press centre of Rosneft reports.
