The court not to declare Chelyabinsk asset of “Mechel” bankrupt

The court does not agree with the requirements to accept the insolvency of the Chelyabinsk asset of “Mechel”.

The Arbitration court of the Chelyabinsk region will not consider the bankruptcy petition of OJSC “Chelyabinsk Iron-and-Steel works” (ChMK, part of Mechel Group), filed by Trading house “Enerpred” CJSC.

The company can not agree with the decision of the court and sent a suit on a return of the petition in bankruptcy to court. Earlier, the regional Arbitration court fulfilled the demand of “Enerpred” on collection of 600 thousand roubles from CherMK.

On July 10th, the court rejected “ChelyabinskMAZservice” to declare CherMK a bankrupt. In April, similar suit by Trading House “Stalinvest” LLC was rejected.
