Varieganneft fulfills the energy efficiency retrofit at the deposits of Variegan oil block

The subsidiary of RussNeft Varieganneft Plc. fulfills the energy efficiency refit at the deposits of Variegan oil block, the company’s press service reports.
The complex of the measures taken in the framework of the program included stopping of the unprofitable well stock with total capacity of 1.611 megawatt, optimization of the electric parameters at ESCP – 273 kilowatt. Besides, the reactive power compensation at the clusters of Tagrino deposit helped to save 850 kilowatt/hours of energy at the amount of more than 2.7 million RUR. The reduction of electricity costs by 2,734 kilowatt/hours in the first half of 2013 helped to save more than 10 million RUR.
