Tajikistan gas lost hope about achievement of agreement about gas contract with Uzbekistan

Tajikistan gas has lost hope about the achievement of an agreement about the gas contract with Uzbekistan, and rely upon gas production of own deposits now. The director of Tajikgas distribution company, S. Sharofiddinov says that the Tajik side has sent official letters to the Uzbek side several times within 6 months, including at the governmental level, but none of them were answered. In his opinion, the point of Uzbek gas supplies to Tajikistan won’t be solved this year .
