New ore mining and processing enterprise starts to work in the Khabarovsk region

The launch of the first stage of the ore mining and processing enterprise (GOK) Belaya Gora has taken place in the Khabarovsk region. The temporary acting Governor of the region, Vyacheslav Shport, members of the regional Administration and the General Directors of the management company Russdragmet, Valery Oif took part in the ceremony.

The construction of the GOK started in February of 2012, the investments into the project made up 5.6 billion rubles. During the year and a half, a gold concentration plant, tailings impoundment, boiler-house plant, rotation camp for 300 persons, administration building, storages of fuel and lubricants, chemical and blaster agents, landfill, roads, power transmission lines, water intake area and other facilities were constructed.
