In June, Cherepovets metallurgic plant produced record volume of pre-painted galvanized iron

In June, the Cherepovets metallurgic plant (CherMK, a part of the division of Severstal Russian Steel) produced a record volume of pre-painted galvanized iron – over 38 thousand tons.

“Produced 38 thousand tons of pre-painted galvanized iron, we exceeded the estimated productivity of lines. Staff of the two polymer coating lines have shown high industrial rates from the beginning of the year. As a result in the first six months the production of pre-painted galvanized iron grew by 17% as compared with the same period of 2012 to 213 thousand tons,” – the Director on Production and Chief Engineer of the division, Andrei Lutsenko said.
