Energy development to cost Russia 96 billion rubles

The Public Council under the Ministry of Energy plans to study proposals for amendments to the general scheme of the oil industry's development through until 2020. It is reported that the volume of financing of the energy efficiency and the energy development program will be 96.2 billion rubles.

The validity of the general scheme of the oil industry's development will be extended till 2035. The materials of the public council’s meeting say that the money from extra-budgetary sources will be spent for the gas sub-program. Maximum funding will be provided for the implementation of the energy saving program and improvement of energy efficiency. In particular, it is a question of 53.99 billion rubles.
