In the first 5 months, oil exports from Azerbaijan fell by 5.2% to 14.37 million tons

In January-May of 2013, the export of crude oil from Azerbaijan made up over 14.371 million tons that is by 5.2% less as compared with the same period of 2012, the State Customs Committee reported on Friday.

About 11.7 million tons of crude oil, exported in January-May, were pumped via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, about 1.62 million tons – via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline, 653.555 thousand tons – via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline and 399.431 thousand tons were transported by railway to Georgian ports on the Black Sea.
