Turkmenistan intends to extract more oil

Turkmenistan intends to increased oil extraction by 2.9% to 11.11 mln tons in 2015 against 2014.
Now “Turkmennebit” operates about 30 deposits which comprise over 600 oil, oil and gas and gas layers which are at various stages of development.
Previously it was reported that “Turkmennebit” holds large-scale geological exploration works at the “North Goturdepe” deposit of the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea.
The resources of the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea are assessed at 12 bln tons of oil and 6.5 trln cubic m of gas.
