Gazprom and Novatek ready for spot gas supplies to Kuwait

Gazprom and Novatek are ready to start spot gas supplies to Kuwait, the Minister for the issues of Council of Ministers of Kuwait, M. A. as-Sabakh, said at the intergovernmental Russia-Kuwait Committee for trade -economic and scientific-technical cooperation.
Gazprom has the largest gas reserves in the world. Its stake in the world gas reserves is 17%, in Russia – 72%. Gazprom’s stake in the world gas extraction is 12%, in Russia – 72%.
Novatek is in the top-5 largest companies in the world by the volume of proven gas reserves. Its proven gas reserves under SEC as of December 31st 2015 made up 12,817 mln barrels of oil equivalent, including 1,775 bln cubic m of gas and 143 mln tons of liquid hydrocarbons.
