Strong European companies will not participate in shady deals on reverse gas supplies to the Ukraine, the head of Gazprom A.Miller asserted.
“Physical reverse from Europe to the Ukraine is impossible – there is no gas pipeline. This can refer to some “paper” nontransparent operations, which legitimacy should be checked. If our transit gas is used for a virtual “reverse”, it’s a direct infringement and one must reply to it. Things of this kind can be inspected and are provable. We have an experience in attracting independent monitoring companies for a control over the operations with our gas in the Ukraine,” he said, answering the question on reverse gas supplies to the Ukraine from Europe, RIA “Novosti” reports.
