Rosneft discusses possibility to supply oil to Indian refineries

Rosneft may start supply oil to Indian refineries; perhaps, India will construct a pipeline for this, an Indian official who is familiar with course of the negotiations with the Russian company’s head Igor Sechin and representatives of the country’s Ministry of Oil Industry, reports.

“Perhaps, we will have to lay a pipeline to transport oil. We decided to form a working team to understand how all this will be able to work,” – the source, quoted by the Bloomberg, says.

“India is a very important country for Russia. We have an efficient project with ONGC (the company owns 20% in the Sakhalin-1 project). Now we want to extend our cooperation. We also consider possibility to supply oil to Indian refineries,” – Sechin said.
