Infrastructure for the gas supply to South Stream continues to be created in the Rostov region

A working meeting of Gazprom’s CEO ,Alexei Miller and Governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev has taken place at the Gazprom’s headquarter. The parties discussed course and perspectives of bilateral cooperation, the company’s press centre reports.

In particular, they discussed gas supply in the region. In 2002-2013, the company invested over 4.2 billion rubles into these goals. 41 inter-village gas pipelines were constructed, general scheme of gas supply was designed. As a result of joint work of Gazprom and the regional government, the level of gas supply in the region was increased to 85.5%. In the current year, Gazprom plans to invest 616 million rubles into development of the gas supply in the region for design of project and start of the construction of 16 inter-village gas pipelines. The company continues to develop gas transportation facilities in the region. In 2008-2013, linear parts of the main gas pipelines Orenburg-Novopskov, the compressor station Sokhranovska-compressor station Oktyabskaya, bend gas pipeline to Millerovo were reconstructed and bend gas pipeline to Morozovsk was constructed.
