In 2013, import of Russian oil by China made up about 50% of the whole Chinese import from Russia, minister-counselor of the Embassy of China in the Russian Federation Ch.Di., who is in charge of Sino-Russian trade, reported.
In 2013, China imported from Russia 24.35 million tons of oil to the amount of $19.74 billion that is by 0.1 % more than in 2012.
Total Chinese import from Russia reached the level of $39.62 billion in 2013.
According Ch.Di, China is interested in further development of cooperation with Russia in the oil sector, as well as Chinese companies.
