The Russian Subsoil Use Management Agency awaits discovery of large gas, gas condensate and oil and gas condensate deposits at the Arctic shelf in the Southern part of the Kara Sea, on the basis of geological exploration. Gas reserves will dominate. The scientists have given their recommendations about the directions of the oil and gas geological exploration.
