Oil production from the main Azerbaijani block starts to grow with forecast of +0.8% per year
Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), which develops oil fields block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, has managed to stop the decline in the production, which allows it to predict growth of rates for 2014.
As BP Azerbaijan ( the project operator) stated, in the first three quarters of 2014, the oil production from ACG amounted to 655.7 thousand barrels per day as compared with 655.370 thousand barrels per day on the average over the past year. In the first quarter, the figure was 645.8 thousand barrels, in the second - 666.4 thousand barrels, and in the third - 654.9 thousand barrels per day.
