Miller discusses gas transit to the EU with the Polish ambassador.

The topical issues of Russian gas transit to the EU through Poland were discussed between Alexey Miller, the head of the Russian gas corporation "Gazprom", and Katarzyna Pełczyński-Nałęcz, the Polish Ambassador to Russia, the press service of the gas company reported.

"The sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in the gas sector. In particular, they talked about the supply of Russian gas to Poland, as well as its transit to the Polish section of the "Yamal - Europe" pipeline. It was noted that Poland is the largest consumer of Russian natural gas in Central Europe and an important transit route on the way to Western European consumers", - the press release informs.
