In Jan-September Kazakhmys increased the output of copper in concentrate by 5% to 236.5 thousand tons

The mining company Kazakhmys Plc increased the output of copper in concentrate by 5% to 236.5 thousand tons, cathode copper – by 0.8% to 214.9 thousand tons in January-September 2013 against the same period in 2012, is said in the report of the company.

The company produced 78.2 thousand ounces of gold in January-September. It is by 13% less than during the same period last year. Silver production is up by 15.7% to 10.419 million ounces. Zinc production in concentrate is down by 11.4% to 99.6 thousand tons.
