Turkmen President discusses energy cooperation with Azerbaijan

The President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has met head of SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev in the capital, discussed with him various aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector during the last meeting. This was reported by the Turkmen mass media, which noted that "having a huge economic and resource potential, the two neighboring countries intend to continue to build their traditional partnership, based on the principles of mutual benefit and equality. It was also noted that "both Caspian states, which are known for their largest deposits of gas and oil, pay a special attention to the development of this sector".
