NLMK-Kaluga ships over 80% of its products by RZD network

In August 2015 NLMK-Kaluga (in the structure of the division of NLMK group) produced the 2-millionth ton of steel. It was due to the replacement of imported rolled products by means of offering high-quality metal product and profitable logistics.
According to the report of RZD, from the moment of launch over 2.03 mln tons of main raw materials – ferrous metal scrap – was shipped to the enterprise, and about 1.61 mln tons were shipped to consumers and exported that made up 80.5% of the entire volume of produced goods.
