UC Rusal to invest $120 million into enterprise in Volgograd

The largest aluminum producer in the world UC Rusal will launch an import substitution project to the amount of $120 million. A production line of baked anodes – consumables of electrolyzers that smelt aluminum of alumina – is created at Volgograd aluminum plant.

"Before the end of the year, the project will pass the state examination, next year we will hold tenders, and the expected launch of the new production will be in December 2017," - director of the plant Yuri Moiseev said.
