Rosneft becomes owner of two hydrocarbon sites in Yakutia

Rosneft has become owner of two hydrocarbon areas in Yakutia – the Nizhnedzherbinsky and Srednebiryuksky. Licenses for both sites were issued for 25 years.

The competitors of Rosneft in the auction for the Nizhnedzherbinsky site were gas producing company Lensk-Gaz, Surgutneftegaz and Syuldyukarneftegaz. Lensk-Gaz and Surgutneftegaz claimed to the Srednebiryuksky site. The auction took place in Yakutsk on June 24th.
