Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegas increases the daily oil production by twice the average at the Khomistoye field.

Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegas increased average daily production of crude oil more than by 100% at the Khomistoye field. In July 2014 a new horizontal well with the depth of 4.3 km and the daily output of 150 tons of oil was commissioned at the Khomistoye field, the Oil and Gas Information agency "Samotlor-Express" states. Thanks to this the average volume of hydrocarbons extracted from one well increased 2.3 times, from 9.7 tons in June to 22.4 tons in July 2014. This result was preceded by the comprehensive evaluation of the existing and remaining reserves of the field. The construction of the actual geological model based on drilling and seismic data allowed selecting the optimal parameters for the redevelopment of the license area. The study and localization of the field reserves and selecting methods for their development is successfully carried out at all sites of Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegas. Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegas, the subsidiary of Gazpromneft, is engaged in oil and gas extraction in 13 fields in YNAO and KhMAD. The main deposits on the Yamal Peninsula are: Vyngapurovsk, Sporyshevsk, Kholmistoye, Chatylkinsk.
