Auction for the Khatanga Gulf to take place in Q4 of 2013

The Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology plans to hold auction for oil and gas site in the Khatanga Gulf of the Laptev Sea in the fourth quarter of 2013, RBK transmits, referring to the Head of the Ministry, Sergei Donskoy.
In turn, the Head of the Federal Agency for Subsurface Use, Valery Pak explains that the site includes five perspective blocks, where geological exploration was carried out and it can be concluded that the field is ready for development. Large companies may be attracted to the project, V.Pak added.
