By 2020, the share of hard to extract oil reserves will increase to 11% of the total yield in Russia

The Ministry of Energy expects that oil production will stabilize at a rate of 510 million tons, and the share of hard to extract oil reserves will increase to 11% of the total yield in Russia by 2020, the Vice Director of the Department of Oil and Gas Production and Transport,, R. Talipov said at the round table conference devoted to ‘Oil sector development’ in the state program ‘Energy efficiency and energy development’ for 2013-2020.
