Messoyakhaneftegas has started start-up and commissioning works at the gas turbine electric station

​Messoyakhaneftegas JSC has started the complex of start-up and commissioning works at the gas turbine electric station with the capacity of 84 mW at the East-Messoyakha deposit. The gas turbine electric station was constructed in the conditions of deep-frozen soil.

6 gas turbine units with the capacity of 14 mW can be operated in the conditions of the Arctic. The initial launch of the gas turbine electric station is planned on natural gas with further turn to APG, Rosneft reports.

It is planned to put the gas turbine electric station into operation in Q3 2016. By the moment of start of industrial production the East-Messoyakha deposit will fully provide itself with electric energy.

The main requirements set to the object are safety and ecological compatibility.

The group of Messoyakha deposits comprises the East-Messoyaha and West-Messoyakha sites. The licenses for both blocks are held by Messoyakhaneftegas which is controlled on the party basis by Gazprom Neft and Rosneft.
