Consumption of rolled products with coating in Russia rose by 2% in January-May 2016

The CEO of Stalinvest, S. Maslennikov, analyzed the situation in the market of steel with coating in January-May 2016. He said that in January-May 2016 the consumption of flat rolled products with coating made up 1,420 thousand tons (by 2% higher than in January-May 2015), rolled products with polymer coating fell by 6% (to 540 thousand tons). In the total volume of flat rolled products the stake of polymers fell by 1%.
In January-May 2016 the consumption of rolled products with coating in Russia on the contrary rose by 2%. It gives optimism that on the results of the year the situation in the market will improve, he said.
