The Ukraine wants the EU to declare contract between Gazprom and Slovakia illegal

The gas contract between Gazprom and Slovakian Eustream does not let Ukrainian and European companies carry out  reverse gas supplies. So, the contract is contrary to the EU laws, they said in Kyiv and appealed to the European Union, Reuters reports.

The Ukraine’s premier, A.Yatsenyuk insists upon contract review between Gazprom and Eustream. Kiev also attached a letter of lawyers to their letter. It is said that Gazprom hinders the operation of “Ukrtransgaz” as an operator of gas transporting system.
