Gas pipeline-offset of Myanmar-China pipeline was decompressed

​Decompression of one of branches of the route gas pipeline with the capacity of 900 mln cubic  m a year pumping gas from Myanmar took place on June 23rd 2015 in the province of Yunnan.

The damaged site was put into operation on June 11th 2015.

The accident happened not far from the highway the traffic of which was blocked. A number of measures were taken to reduce the pressure at the pipe and prevention of gas burst.

Currently the consequences of the accident have been eliminated, the traffic has been recovered.
