The Ukraine may lose up to $100 billion because of reduction of cooperation with Russia and the Customs Union in 2015-2018
The Ukraine may lose about $100 billion in 2015-2018 in the case of the implementing of the shock scenarios of the loss of cooperation with the countries of the Customs Union as a result of the reorientation of the Ukraine to the EU, the report of the Committee of Civil Initiatives "Deadlock of the Integration and the Flight to Europe".
Analysts believe that the reduction of the export of Ukrainian goods to Russia and other countries of the Customs Union, which is estimated at the annual loss of $14.3-15.3 billion, is at the most significant risk.
Besides, the analysts include the deterioration of trade and economic relations between the Ukraine and Russia and the Customs Union, the risk of a decrease in cash receipts to the Ukraine via labour migration channels, the risk of complete the refusal of Russia from using the transit pipeline through the Ukraine, the risk of the maintenance of the increased prices for Russian gas, a risk of the lack of Russian investments, the risk of a sharp reduction in the tourist income of Russian citizens in the Ukraine, as well as the risk of rejection of Russian companies from a significant part of mutual transport with the participation of Ukrainian operators is the shock scenario.
