Two mini gas-processing plants to be built in Sakhalin in the next few years

Two mini gas-processing plants are planned to be built in Sakhalin in the next few  years, the Interfax reports, referring to the Head of the Agency of Gas Supply and Infrastructure Development in the Sakhalin region, Vera Tikhonkikh.

According to her, in 2014, Vostokspetsgaz intends to start the construction of a compressed gas plant in the suburbs of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

“The company plans to construct a mini-plant by the end of the next year. Its capacity will be 50 million tons per year at the first stage and 110 million tons, when it reaches its full capacity,” – the agency’s Head said.
