CNPC acquires 20% in “Yamal-LNG”

There was an agreement signed on Friday between the Russian “NOVATEK” and Chinese CNPC on the acquisition of 20% in “Yamal LNG”. Under the agreement CNPC will have a long-term contract on the supply of liquefied natural gas, which will be shipped to China in tankers. Up to this point “NOVATEK” owned 80% of shares, while French Total – 20%.
