6 billion cubic metres of gas per year to be extracted at Yurkharovskoye deposit in 2015

NOVATEK is going to reach the designated capacity of hydrocarbons extraction at Yurkharovskoye deposit – 6 billion cubic metres of gas per year.
“There is Cenomanian bedding at the deposit”, General Director of NOVATEK-Yurkharovneftegaz Sergey Solovyov reported at the international conference Yamal Oil and Gas 2013 in Salekhard. “We are not going to start the project right away, as Cenomanian bedding is floating and almost 100% underwater”.
