The tax revenues from oil production in Russia will fall in the coming years, so the country needs to think about the development of its industrial potential, Valery Pak,the  Deputy RF Ministry of Natural Resources, stated during the visiting session of SF Committee on Economic Policy.

"We need to understand objectively that the tax base, at least from  oil production, will fall in the country. The question is: how far will it fall? Either it will be adjustable to fall through the involvement of additional hard-to-recover deposits in the development and preservation of oil extraction in Western Siberia and other regions. Either it will, in fact, an uncontrollable fall of the tax, and as a result a decrease in production in the Russian Federation, as part of the fields will be unprofitable", - Pak stated.
