Lukoil, whose Sicilian refinery ISAB works on the edge of profitability, seeks help from the local Authorities

Lukoil, whose Sicilian refinery ISAB works on the edge of profitability, has sought help from the local Authorities. The Management of the Russian company and officials agreed to create a working team to solve problems of the refinery. Today contracts, signed by the ISAB’s Management before the coming of Lukoil, prevent its development. Employees of the refinery are sure that its cancellation or review will help, but they shouldn’t expect more from the local Government in the post-crisis conditions.
