Yatsenyuk stated that the Ukraine must produce its own gas

Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk, appointed by the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukraine, has stated that the Ukraine must start to produce its own gas, including shale one, to ensure its energy security.

“You heard discussions about shale gas. Meeting all ecological standards, we must ensure our energy security immediately. Including through extraction of our own gas. Can we do it for a day? No, we can’t. But we should do it the day before yesterday,” – the Prime Minister stated on Saturday.
