Coal supplies from Russia to the Ukraine for DTEK and Centrenrgo still blocked

Coal from Russia hasn’t been supplied to the Ukraine from Jan 2015, however, the Government of Russia and the Ukraine are not aware of it.

Forbes has learnt that the largest private energy holding of the Ukraine DTEK had been returned the advance payments and rejected in the supplies of thermal coal by the Russian coal suppliers from Jan 2015.

“There are no new dispatches to the Ukrainian thermal power plants and the supplies from Kuzbass stay blocked”, the press service of DTEK says.

The Ukrainian companies started to report about the shutdown of thermal coal supplies from Russia in November 2014. However, in late December the President of the Ukraine, P. Poroshenko, said there were no problems with the
