In January 2014, 488.3 million tons of Turkmen oil was transported via the MP Baku – Tbilisi – Ceyhan (BTC), which exports most of the oil produced in Azerbaijan, against 196.4 million tons in January 2013.
In 2013, 3.3 million tons of the Turkmen oil was transported against 3.1 million tons in 2012.
In January 2014, with 488.3 million tons of the transit Turkmen oil were transported via MP BTC from the Sangachal oil terminal.
