In January-September 2015, production of polypropylene in Russia grew by 28%

In the first nine months of 2015, the total production of polypropylene in Russia increased by 28% as compared with the same period of 2014 and amounted to 927.3 thousand tons. The increase in the production figures was shown by all Russian companies without exception.

In September this year, the total amount of the polypropylene production in Russia was reduced to 74.7 thousand tons as compared to 83 thousand tons in the previous month due to scheduled shutdowns for maintenance of Tobolsk-Polymer, Tomskneftekhim and Polyom. In general, in January - September 2015, the total volume of the polypropylene output in Russia made up 927.3 thousand tons against 724.2 thousand tons in the same period of 2014.
