To date, Yamal is the gas area in Russia, which has no similar alternatives. The governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous area D.Kobylkin said at the IId National Oil-and-Gas forum.
He said that hydrocarbons production in the region increased by 11.7%, the local budget went up by 30%, while the growth of gross regional product exceeded the pre-crisis level by more than 1.8 times within the period from 2009 to 2013.
