South Stream: Gas negotiations for the Kremlin is an attempt to lobby supplies via Bulgaria

The three-party gas negotiations for Russia is a means of settling its strategic goals on the control of the gas transit to Europe via the South Stream pipeline.

The gas negotiations for the Kremlin is an attempt to lobby the South Stream, the President of the Center of Global Studies “Strategy 21”, M. Gonchar says.

According to him, they settle the issue connected with the renewal of gas supplies to the Ukraine. Russia sees this issue and this process in the other way. It is only an element of its strategy in which the 3-party process has a role of Russia’s demonstration of its “kind will”, so to say. In fact they have another goal, Mr. Gonchar said.
