The RF Ministry of Energy has proposed a list of fields that are proposed to make the pilot for the running of the tax to the added income (TAI) to the Government.

Most of the proposed fields belong to Gazpromneft and Lukoil.

If the experiment is coordinated with other agencies, the first projects can be started in 2015.

We are talking about the Valyntoysk and Imilorsk deposits of Gazpromneft and LUKOIL, respectively.

The development of Valyntoysk and Imilorsk under new terms should bring additional revenue to the budget in the amount of 86 billion roubles.

The pilot projects on the existing Vyngayakhinsk and Ety-Purovsk fields of Gazpromneft, Nivagalsk and Krasnoleninsk of Lukoil suggest additional revenue to the budget worth 146 billion roubles.

Lets recall that Lukoil and Surgutneftegaz offered the RF Ministry of Finance to implement the pilot project using the Excess Profit Tax on 2 fields – named after Spielmann and Imilorsk.

The RF Ministry of Energy also stated that Rosneft and Tatneft have also expressed their desire to turn their fields into the "pilots" of the Excess Profit Tax, but have not yet submitted their calculations
