Gazpromneft and Rosnano to introduce nanotechnologies in the oil and gas sector.

Aleksandr Dyukov, Chairman of the Board of Gazpromneft, and Anatoly Chubais, the chairman of the board of the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs (FIEP, part of Rosnano), signed a general cooperation agreement. The parties agreed to develop cooperation in the development and implementation of the nanotechnology and nanomaterials, superior in quality to the existing foreign analogues.

The purpose of the agreement is the search for Russian innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of development of the deposits, oil refining and reduce the impact on the environment.
