Lukoil to invest more than 28 billion RUR into ecological safety of the Volga Region by 2019

Lukoil is going to invest more than 28 billion RUR in the ecological safety program of the Volga Region in 2014-2018, the company reports.

The priorities of the program are utilization of new waste (the correlation of utilization of waste to its formation at least 1:1), utilization of “old (pre-privatization) damages”, use of APG (at least 95% by 2015), further improvement of GHG emission recording and its reduction,an increase of the production of pollution-free fuel meeting Euro-5 standards, the prevention and a readiness to liquidate the consequences of possible emergencies, the recultivation of damaged and contaminated soil, the implementation of automated systems of industrial environmental control, provision of the impact on the environment due to the activities of the organizations of Lukoil, including those operating outwards Russia, in compliance with the demands of national and international law.
