Gazprom’s subsidiary plans to increase volume of sites with difficult oil by 20%

Gazpromneft- Khantos, subsidiary of Gazpromneft, has applied new technology of hydraulic fracturing, which, in the case of its successful implementation, will increase the amount of sites with difficult oil, involved in the development, by 20%, the company reports.

According to the press release, the new technology will reduce the development time and increase the operational capacity of wells to no less than 75 tons per day. In the long term, the introduction of the innovation will also reduce the cost and increase the economic efficiency of projects of horizontal wells construction.
