Rosneft and ExxonMobil are going to complete the drilling at the Universitetskya-1 well in the Kara Sea by October 10th, the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology S. Donskoy says. He claims that drilling at the well should be completed due to possible consequences for the environment.
ExxonMobil will gradually stop operations in the Kara Sea, it claimed last week, ITAR-TASS reported. ExxonMobil follows all US sanctions. The US Ministry of Finances understands complexity of Universitetskya-1. It has granted the license to ExxonMobil and other American companies to enable them safely stop operations at the well.
